Harold Leopold Marsh Freeth was the seventh child of James Freeth & Mary Eliza Owen born June 28th,1883 at West Bromwich.
Harold was living at home in 1891with his 4 brothers & a sister at 289/287 High St, West Bromwich.
In 1901 Harold was still living at home at 289 High St. with his widowed father & his brother Thomas & sister Florence. Harold was a carpenter’s apprentice.
Harold was still living at home in 1911 at the same address with his father & brother & sister. He was now a carpenter.
The 1939 register shows Harold living at 54 Beeches Rd, West Bromwich & he was a carpenter with his own account. His brother Thomas was living at the same address.
Harold was honorary secretary of the West Bromwich YMCA for over 20 years.
Harold, a wheelwright, of 54 Beeches Rd, West Bromwich died on May 24th, 1941 at Sandwell Nursing Home. Probate was granted at Birmingham on August 14th, 1941 to his brother William Herbert Freeth, retired grocer. His effects amounted to £3,173.17s.8d. He was buried in West Bromwich Cemetery on May 28th after a service at Overend Methodist Church.
